Processing Attendants
A local employer is looking to fill multiple long term casual processing roles in Huonville.
As a Processing Attendant you will:
• Assist with processing and production of smoked salmon
• Work on a production line
• Operate machinery
• Receive on-the-job training
Preferred candidates for this role will have:
• Full availability 6am to 2pm shifts Monday to Friday
• Ability to work in a cold food-processing environment
• Excellent communication skills
• A car and drivers license/reliable transport to get to work
• Visa holders will be considered
• Medically fit, ability to pass a physical
Forklift ticket highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have:

Essential requirements:
• Relevant qualification in disability, aged care, or community support (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Ability to Assist Clients with Medication
• Understanding of NDIS and NDIS Quality & Safeguards
• Current Driver’s Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
• Working with Vulnerable People registration
• Legal rights to work in Australia
• Willingness to travel across regions
Desirable:
• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in behavioural support or trauma-informed care
• At least 6 months’ experience working with complex needs or behaviours of concern
